There have been explosions in Lebanon for two consecutive days. Among them, there were explosions on various pagers last Tuesday. Then there was an explosion in Wakitaki on Wednesday. Even one or two are many. The two blasts killed 37 people as of last reported. More than 3 thousand were injured. Most of the casualties were members of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah.

Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad is said to be involved in these pager and walkie-talkie explosions. Such information is known from a report of the American media New York Times. The media published this report on three Israeli intelligence officers.

The three intelligence officers said that Hungary-based pager maker BAC Consulting is actually an organization created by Mossad. They secretly financed the work of this organization. Such an organization is called a ‘shell company’. Pager is made here.

Then an agreement was made with the Taiwanese company Gold Apollo. That Taiwanese pager exploded in Lebanon. The American newspaper New York Times also reported that Mossad made several other such institutions.

Hezbollah blamed Israel for the attack. Israel has not yet commented on the attack. However, several sources said Israel had been planning this for months.

According to a top Lebanese security source, Hezbollah ordered 5,000 pagers made by Taiwan’s Gold Apollo Company. These pagers were brought to Lebanon earlier this year. These AP-924 model pagers can receive and display text messages like other pagers. But can’t make phone calls.

The source also said that Hezbollah started using these pagers early this year to avoid Israeli surveillance. However, Mossad changes these pagers at the production level.

According to sources, the Mossad inserted a board into these devices, which contained explosive material. Receiving a code activates it and causes an explosion. Even by sending a coded message, 3 thousand pagers are blasted simultaneously.

Another source said each pager contained about three grams of explosives. But none of the scanners caught it. Neither Israel nor Gold Apollo agreed to comment.

Mossad has been targeting Hezbollah for years. One of these is cyber attack. Apart from this, the organization has been plotting with various equipments. This is the complaint of the head of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrullah. This time he said the same thing. Last February, the head of Hezbollah claimed that Mossad was hacking his mobile phone.
