Occupier Israel has attacked Lebanese armed group Hezbollah with wireless device pagers and walkie-talkies. At least 40 people were killed and 4000 people were injured in Lebanon in this strategic attack.
After this series of attacks by the occupying Israel, the main leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrullah, gave a speech on TV today. He claimed that Israel crossed all limits with this attack and they wanted to kill 5000 people together. Which amounts to genocide.
Nasrullah said, “Last Tuesday, Israel wanted to kill 4,000 people in one minute by detonating pagers. Many of them were civilians. Another thousand in two minutes on Wednesday the next day. Israel planned to kill 5,000 people.”
He further said, “We have suffered a big shock. But this is war, this is conflict. We know not only the Israeli enemies but also the US and NATO. They are technologically ahead of us.”
The Hezbollah chief claimed that Israel wanted to weaken them through this attack. They wanted to collapse the leadership. But they did not succeed. Because the pagers that exploded are not used by Hezbollah commanders.
Nasrullah also said that until the Israelis stop their brutality in Gaza, they will continue their attacks.
The head of the powerful armed group said that Israel has set the goal of returning its citizens to the northern part of occupied Palestine (Northern Israel). But Hezbollah won’t let that happen. He challenged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he would not allow Israelis to return to northern Israel, which borders Lebanon, until they end attacks on Gaza. And if they try to return, Hezbollah will take strict action. Which he termed as a ‘historic opportunity’.
